Glenn Bannister of AMC started his early mechanical career at 12 working on the family collection of various makes and models of automobiles. These included naturaly aspirated and turbocharged engines from 1.6 to large V8's.
Enjoying his endevours as an encouraged youth after school and on every weekend he eventualy decided that he should endevour to progress to work on aircraft.
After leaving school he applied to Ansett Airlines as a LAME providing his prior mechanical automotive work skills.
This earned him an imeadiate position at Ansett Airlines engineering in Melbourne Airport in 1985.
Glenn progressed his working career over many years in the Aviation and Marine sectors before securing a more satisfying out on the road service engineering troubleshooter position for Crown Australia.
